I found these on Etsy after someone had posted on the Lush forums quite a while ago. They look like they were from January of 2010. Has anyone ever tried these? OMG... I love you

Astral Temple Butter Silk Bath Tablet

FRAGRANCE:

Sweet, golden and otherworldly amber mingles with spicy ginger and clove and dances on a bed of freshly sliced oranges. This smells divine and deeply sensual and evokes the feeling of being in a still, dark room with nothing but incense smoke caressing you and flickering candles casting a warm orange glow from the boudoir. It is nothing short of trance-inducing, calming yet exotic and dangerous.

This tablet contains some extremely fine beautiful gold mica dust which gives are very very soft and subtle ethereal shimmer to your bath water. If any remains on your skin after leaving the bath, it will super subtle verging on undetectable. The Astral Temple tablet contains just a few calendula petals as a botanical aesthetic.*

*The demonstration of the tablet fizzing in the water is a Lavender Chamomile Tablet with Chamomile flowers and not this tablet being offered.

All about the Butter Silk Bath Tablet:

Each bath tablet weighs approximately 1.5 ounces. There are no salts so it is light weight yet still is approx 1 - 1.25 inch high and approx 2.25 inches across. It contains shea butter and shea oil and a slight bit of Tapioca Starch that imparts a subtle silky feel to the bath water, hence Butter + Silk. For best results, add the entire tablet after you have completely filled your tub and watch it fizz, smell the scent wafting up from it and see the light oils begin to disperse. You may try adding half a tablet to see if that will be moisturizing/scented strongly enough, but the best experience for my taste is using the whole thing.

After soaking for 10-15 minutes, you will be able to feel a softness on the skin from the butter silk combo. It is subtle enough to gently moisturize without leaving you slick and oily. When exiting the tub, be careful as it will become a little slippery. I will typically run a little fresh water in the tub after it has drained so my boyfriend doesn't slip if he uses the bath/shower after me.

This bath fizzy does not contain actual silk and is Vegan.

Keep your tablet in a cool try place, wrapped until ready for use. Best if used within a month or so of purchase since scent strength will be at its peak.

LOL!! Nothing gets past you, Rob Laughing

I would love to make these again but sheesh are they time consuming to actually make a large batch so that I'd have plenty to sell! That's the only reason I haven't made more. They looked so pretty in the little cobalt blue wrapper too.

I don't know guys, maybe I will do it again but I think I'll be on my toes through the winter/New Year with the massive Winter release so doubt it will be soon. Or maybe I could make a batch and give them out as an incentive (like place an order of X or more and get one of those as a freebie)? I think it's a quantity issue I have.

The fizzing picture was a Quiet Night one with powdered chamomile flowers. Twisted Evil

I'm sure they are time consuming! But how about THIS, instead....Can you just offer the powder loose inside of a jar, like you do with the bath salts. Then we can just put a scoop or two in the tub, and still have enough left over for a few more uses. Yup...I like this idea. bom

love me some bath tablets. bought $100 worth of various artisan bombs to give as gifts and i remember thinking at the time what a bummer it was that they weren't SS. no idea such a creature had ever existed. i'd give up my first born for a MM tab (and glace!) but i wouldn't kick an astral temple out of the tub either.
