Summer 2012 collection

I just got my box with all of the samples, root beer whipped soap, Florida Fruit Stand sugared amber, and the Gulf Breeze sea salt. This collection has knocked my socks clean OFF. Holy smokes these are some SEXY and/or fun scents. I can't decide which is my favorite at the moment. Sirocco is wow, just wow. Summer garden is so perfectly that, and I cannot get enough of that tomato leaf note. I thought I would adore Tropical Moon, but it has decidedly taken a back seat to my surprise infatuation: Tenebrous Mist. I cannot get enough of it.

Wow! Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm thrilled to hear there were some surprise hits here. Did you try the Summer Garden in whipped soap or perfume format? YAY for some Sirocco love. Awesome, I need to make the new scent listings in the scent reference so people can review! I am going to get that done today.

I tried the Summer Garden perfume sample. I'm tempted to get the soap because the dry down lost so much of that yummy tomato leaf, and I'm wondering if the soap holds that edge a bit longer.

Sirocco is fantastic. I picked my mom up yesterday, after dabbing on about five of the samples, and as soon as she got in the car she said, "Wow you smell fantastic." I asked her if it was the throw or one in particular because I'd been dabbing. I held out my arms for her to sniff and as soon as she got to Sirocco she said, "THAT one!" She also loved the Cardamom Rose Sugar and Tenebrous Mist. Those are my top three on me, too. Love them!

Yes, sadly the tomato leaf does not have a great deal of staying power and it is a dominant note. Not much I can do about that. However, the whipped soap smells like the perfume on cold sniff and initial app so it is strong in there. The whipped soap doesn't leave behind much scent so the experience is in shower only as it blooms while you're using it. It's fresh!

I like wearing Sirocco in the crook of my arm and the cardamom rose on my wrist because I like them both together since they are both exotic smelling. I didn't really like them layered on top of each other though. Even though I like them at the same time, I prefer them in separate locations.

I know it's been awhile since the summer collection was released, but I got Cardamom Rose Sugar with my autumn order because I've been wanting it and omg. It is everything I imagined it'd be and even better. It's absolutely my favorite perfume so far. The cardamom and sugar is so delicious smelling. I love it so much~
