ESTATE ROSEWOOD
Estate Vanilla, Tea Rose, Oak Casks, Tobacco, Bourbon, Woods, Rosewood, Hinoki Wood

Estate Rosewood begins on a strong base of our house vanilla called Estate Vanilla to which notes of tea rose, oak casks, tobacco, woods, bourbon, rosewood and hinoki wood have been added. This perfume opens with a light tea rose accord top note and sweet vanilla, warm oak bourbon barrels and a touch of aromatic tobacco with a faint trace of spice. The bourbon is rich, golden and woody with slight caramel and raisin undertones. It is not boozy, rather think of a rendered down bourbon syrup or a well-aired glass of bourbon carefully blended with the other notes. There is a bit of fine sustainably-sourced sandalwood at the heart. The rosewood is light, with hints of lemon and tea rose. It has a delicate polished carved antique rosewood furniture element. Estate Rosewood has the rich exquisite stately aroma along the lines of Estate Carnation and White Feather but it is much lighter than those dense heavily-scented, spicy and heady compositions. The Estate Vanilla base emerges to the foreground as this perfume wears and after several hours the vanilla and spent oak casks are the strongest remaining notes with a faint trace of tobacco and woods. Estate Rosewood has a sweet, creamy, warm, golden, slightly woody dry down with a wisp of non-powdery amber, though no amber is present in this composition.

Just sniffing the cap has me swooning. It's like Estate Vanilla was spritzed all around an old Victorian home. Soft, delicate, feminine yet it has a backbone - like a loved and sturdy armoire. It is at once beautiful and sturdy while remaining functional. The scent against my skin is much stronger wood scent than what flows up naturally.

There is a hint of something flowery, yet it's not a fresh floral, more like a sachet tucked away in a drawer.

Love, love love this!

Omg you guys.... Estate Rosewood. I have never been a floral fan but once again, Angela has proved me wrong. This is easily one of my new favorite fragrances from any company EVER.
As a lover and collector of antiques, I have a great appreciation for the scent of "old wood". The wood notes in Estate Rosewood are rich and warm, perfectly aged. I've also become appreciative  of fine bourbons and cigars. My love enjoys a cigar every now and then as well. All of these elements are present and absolute perfection. The tobacco is unlit, sweet. The bourbon, exquisite and smooth, a little heat, no burn. The Rose is soft and subtle, very true, not artificial in the least. All of these notes come together like a story. A little chapter of my life. I'm immediately drawn to this scent, like it is a little piece of my life captured in a scent story.

This is just stunning.
A couple of things I would like to add to what Angela and the others have already so eloquently said...
While this definitely doesn't feel heavy and is closer to the skin than White Feather or Estate Carnation, it still has tremendous lasting power and performance. I sprayed a couple of sprays, it had dried down and I still smelled it hours later.
And again while it isn't heavy, it does have an almost-smouldery quality on initial spray. I find Estate Rosewood incredibly beautiful and a bit more feminine leaning, although I bet it smells great on a guy.
It does start out slightly boozy, with the precious woods at the forefront and that hint of sweetness and amber. It ultimately (on my skin. Ymmv.) dries down into more complex, precious woods heavy, Estate Vanilla laden scent. Love!
This was masterfully crafted. Brilliant job, Angela! I'm just sorry I didn't just spring for a full bottle from the get go!

My adoration for Estate Rosewood grew slowly at first, then increased exponentially until it became pure obsession! Many of my most beloved perfumes came into my heart this way, starting off a bit unsure since they were so unique, before becoming a craving and then pure euphoria.
I will also say that in the summer heat, Estate Rosewood needed about a week to settle from the mail shock. The aroma is weaker and narrower fresh from the mail, and really needs to equilibrate to your environment before it can show its true, nuanced form.
Estate Rosewood opens on my skin with a gorgeous glimmer of rose and dusky cocoa. This stage is followed by the tobacco which is rich and smooth, and the cello hum of precious woods, all underscored by the magic of Estate Vanilla.
Every spritz takes me deeper into the magic. I'm hooked and it's a glorious addiction!! Thank you Angela for this exceptional pleasure. Absolutely mesmerizing.

Wow. I've always had an olfactory dream. One which I will never have the funds to fulfill. I have dreamed of having a custom made perfume based on my olfactory memories by a perfume house like the House of Creed for example. I always wondered what kind of perfume I would get. It would have a rose top note with middle and base notes of woods, particularly rosewood and vanilla.
This is the perfume I have always dreamed of. I've never been tempted to buy an expensive FB of anything until now. I'm definitely getting one as soon as I possibly can!!!
It's so very very beautiful! Manor is really popular but this far surpasses it in my opinion. The richness of the woods and sweetness of vanilla is like pure olfactory crack for me.
