WAIL OF THE BANSHEE
Earthy-Aquatic Fragrance with Patchouli, Vetiver, Fresh Rain, Irish Moss, Woods & Salty Waves

Offered as part of the Autumn 2011 Collection in Whipped Soap and Bath Salt Format

Description: Wail of the Banshee is a very earthy fragrance combined with aquatic notes. It is heavy on the patchouli, woods and dank bog notes followed instantly by fresh rain and salty waves, smokey vetiver and finished with a hint of moss in the background. In use, Wail of the Banshee has a woody body coupled with an aquatic note. Dark and atmospheric.

(reposted from my SS Fall contest blog)

It's not a secret that I absolutely adore Angela's bath salts. They are relaxing, yet are so revitalizing at the same time. If you haven't tried one of her's... you need to grab one in a scent that peaks your interest. While there won't be glitter, fancy colors or bubbles.. it's certainly not needed to have a bath that really does something other than look pretty!

Wail of the Banshee reminded me so much of Ireland. This could easily be a scent released in a Celtic collection of some sort. It's like being in a mossy bog on the Emerald Isle. It's damp with a bit of fog... maybe a peat fire burning in the distance? A cloudy day... not bright whatsoever. This scent creates such atmosphere in the bath!

I'm very picky about bath products, and I just love these salts. A little bit goes a long way, gives off tons of scent, and makes my skin feel moisturized, but not greasy. And I really like the scent of Wail of the Banshee. It's a nice unisex fragrance, so my husband doesn't mind using this one either. I think that the salts smell mainly aquatic, like a smooth, cool, rain water scent with a hint of salty ocean in the background. Very refreshing and spa-like.

I cannot wait to try these!!! I just snagged them up on her Deal of the Day!!! I have tried the Blood Bathory salts and loved them, so I am sure these will be wonderful too. I love just about anything that has patchouli in it, so this should be a winner for me!

Wail of the Banshee Whipped Soap: this is just a sniff test until I actually try it out in the shower
Wow, this is stunning. Definitely a unisex blend. Crisp, clean but warm scent. Another great sexy scent on a guy (think, that just stepped out of the shower clean guy smell) but a woman that is into the more masculine scents would dig this.

I have Wail of the Banshee in bath salts. Wow, what the perfect name! Smelling this I get cold, damp, wet, earth, fog, woods, ocean mist. I can truly picture an amazing story in my head taking a bath using these salts. Perfect name, perfect scent. A great autumn bath!
