| I found Solstice Scents while browsing Etsy in January of this year. After I read the descriptions of the scents and looked at the wonderful pictures of the products, I decided to dive in and make my first order:
Astral Temple Perfume
Jack and the Devil Perfume
Old Cedar Magus Ganache
Conjure Ganache
Spellbound Woods Glace
Angela greeted me with such warmth and excitement.. and that made me even more excited to receive my first order.
I was amazed when it arrived that I fell in love with EVERY scent and product I had ordered! To this day, I credit it to her amazing descriptions which are always spot on for me.
To this day, those 5 scents remain some of my top favorites... but there will always be one that will remain at #1 and that is Old Cedar Magus.
I love all of SS products so it's very hard for me to say which one would be my absolute favorite. If I could only have one thing, I guess it would be the perfume oils because that way I can enjoy the scents in the most natural of states possible. The bath salts and glace would probably be the next to follow.

| you know Rob i think we're kindred souls, my first order was a sampler pack of nag champa, spellbound woods, pharaoh, sages athenaeum, and anubis, an old cedar magus whipped, and a nag champa glace. i found out i don't like to wear champa as much as i like to burn it, but i put it away in the back of a drawer for a year meaning to throw it out, and one of my teenagers discovered she's a latent hippie. (i owe Angela back the $12 she refunded me now) but i placed another order asap. i just KNEW right away this was my place, i don't normally place orders that large to etsy sellers i don't know the first time, usually i'll just order samples, or a single item to get a feel, but i had an instinct about SS. everything came and even though some of the scents took me awhile to "get" i could tell by the blending of the fragrances and the character of the products that what i was looking for was there, so i placed tons more orders right away trying everything out and messaging Angela like an old friend. (she really does that. the sweet thing.) turns out my favorite was actually in that first order though, i just didn't realize it right away. i was in too big a hurry to try the next thing. (still am!)
i do vote Angela should try one of those ancients collections again in the HFO's and include champa, maybe i could have a monster mash experience again with athenaeum and pharaoh, two FO's i wan't to love but don't really. i think the ancients thing was before your time, but it had pharaoh, anubis, sages athenaeum, aand i can't remember if it was travelers or scrying smoke, maybe it was astral temple. the mind wanders. the "monster mash experience" is where i ordered it once in ganache without sampling and gave it "meh." a year later i get the HFO and smelled it for the first time the way it actually is and fell in huge love. new rule, never order anything without sampling the FO, bleh. i think the way the HFO's articulate the scent really helps with the "getting it" and i realize this paragraph of my post should prolly be in the HFO thread.....

| That's one of th reasons I'm so darned excited about this forum... We all have a common passion, but it can vary by the scents we love! Some of are like family members while others are cousins! LOL
