Coffee Recs Empty
PostSubject: Coffee Recs   Coffee Recs EmptyWed Aug 14, 2013 7:44 pm

I asked this on the SS facebook page but also wanted to post here for those who may have missed it. I am looking for recs for organic coffee that tastes awesome. I prefer something with low acidity but I also like a full bodied medium to dark roast. Some people recommended the Trader Joe's Bolivian Blend which I plan on checking out. I only have Publix, Fresh Market, Trader Joe's and a few local health food stores and do not have a Whole Foods. I'd prefer something I can buy in person but am not opposed to something online if you love it. The coffee must be either beans or have the ability for me to select coarse grind as I prepare it in a French press. Thank you!

Have you tried Counter Culture?
They are available online but I have also seen them at Fresh Market stores. They're organic and if I remember right, they try to do things for charity/community too.

edit//:wow, I just realized how old this post was. I reckon you've found a fave by now!

Still very much appreciated!! Thank you. I have not tried this brand and we do have a FM so will check it out. I've been enjoying Jim's Organic coffee and a local roaster called Sweetwater but one can never have too many options.

Awesome! Fresh Market also has their own store branded line of Organic Coffees. I haven't tried them but I bought one for my sister for Christmas, it was Panettone flavored!

Hi Angela!

I really like Trader's Joe Wake Up fair trade organic blend. It's a very smooth and delicious medium roast. I have not tried the Bolivian blend, but this is my favorite coffee from Trader Joe's that I have tried. There House blend is also quite good.
