Winter scents photo! And poll!

I've tried three SS winter scents so far: Bayberry, Russian Caravan and Outpost.

Out of the three, I like Bayberry the best, but it is followed closely by Russian Caravan, which is one of my favorite types of tea. RC had to be a winner, it's way too loaded with notes I like. Bayberry is right for me too, it's bayberry greenery with a blast of minty air. Perfect.

Outpost isn't working out that great for me, except in the middle of its run. In the beginning, the sugar note is very strong and at the end, it becomes burnt sugar, which I don't like. But if it would stay in the middle, it is icy forest with just a hint of sweet coolness. I wish this could be made with the sugar note.

I like how the perfumes moved in the photo to make a blend called Devil's Outpost!

The packing in my small box was a lot to my liking, black and green shredded bouncing paper (like puppet legs), antiqued bells and some sprigs o' green. It came very fast too. Here's a photo of my winter order:



What is your favorite winter blend so far? I'd do a forum poll but there are more than 10 blends! So leave your answer in a comment below!

I guess I'm not a huge fan of the Bayberry on it's own. But I do like it in the blends. My favorite by far is Snowshoe Pass! I'm in love with this fragrance! I'm also really liking Outpost and Flintlock. Russian Caravan is another fave! So many great winter fragrances!

Someone else has a best winter scent poll up here...I didn't do one because there are more than 10 perfumes and I didn't want any of them to be left out.

Russian Caravan, which was first released last year, is one of my all time favorites from SS. Of the new scents for this year I love Showshoe Pass and Flintlock. If I had to pick just one scent as my favorite from the new winter scents it would be Snowshoe. It is just one of those scents where when you catch whiffs of it throughout the day you say to yourself, "damn, that smells good!"
