I've tried three SS winter scents so far: Bayberry, Russian Caravan and Outpost.
Out of the three, I like Bayberry the best, but it is followed closely by Russian Caravan, which is one of my favorite types of tea. RC had to be a winner, it's way too loaded with notes I like. Bayberry is right for me too, it's bayberry greenery with a blast of minty air. Perfect.
Outpost isn't working out that great for me, except in the middle of its run. In the beginning, the sugar note is very strong and at the end, it becomes burnt sugar, which I don't like. But if it would stay in the middle, it is icy forest with just a hint of sweet coolness. I wish this could be made with the sugar note.
I like how the perfumes moved in the photo to make a blend called Devil's Outpost!
The packing in my small box was a lot to my liking, black and green shredded bouncing paper (like puppet legs), antiqued bells and some sprigs o' green. It came very fast too. Here's a photo of my winter order:
