Solstice Scents Winter Collection release TONIGHT at 7 p.m. EST

We are pleased to offer our winter collection tonight at 7 pm EST at www.solsticescents.com. Recurring favorites and two new perfumes will be offered. A list of everything that will be in stock tonight is below. Some of these items are General Catalog items or restocks of other collections but we wanted to provide a full list of everything that would be available. Please note that if something you want to purchase is not in stock on the website, it will not be available for purchase. We have all available inventory listed at the present time. We are currently out of stock of several perfumes including several of the Estate series EDP exclusives, Night Watcher, Black Forest, Library, etc. Several of these will be restocked at the end of the month. We will not be able to accommodate any special decanting requests for out of stock items as we will be full focused on shipping all orders from the release as swiftly as possible.

SHIPPING/TURNAROUND TIME/INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We will begin shipping orders tomorrow. We estimate that all orders placed tonight will be shipped in approximately 5 days (starting tomorrow). We ask that you allow us 7 total days but know that we have never taken more than 5 days to ship during a release. This is based on our fall release volume. We were able to ship all orders from the night of the fall release and 3/4 of the orders from the following day within 5 days and expect a similar volume of orders to process for this release.

While we cannot guarantee your order will arrive before Christmas, we will be moving as swiftly as possible to place it in the hands of the postal system. EDPs must ship via the slower USPS Parcel Select Ground service and may not arrive in time for Christmas due to the high volume of parcels USPS is currently processing. Please select Priority mail (EDPs are not eligible for this option) if you'd like to increase your chances of receiving the parcel before Christmas. In the past years, we have seen some first class and even Priority packages take up to 10 days to arrive and get stuck in the Jacksonville, FL distribution center. Please be advised that at this time of year, the tracking may be spotty and Priority parcels (arriving in the US in typically 2 to 3 days) and first class (3 to 5 days in the US) may take longer than those typical arrival times. USPS tracking can also be spotty, especially on orders containing EDPs as the Parcel Select class only scans a few times along the way. Know that when you receive a shipping notice from us, your parcel is going out that day or the very next day, depending the time the label is printed. There is no mail on Sundays but we will be processing orders tomorrow. International customers: consider using DHL. It costs a little more than USPS but your order will arrive in a matter of days as opposed to the 3 to 6 weeks it is likely to take if placed tonight.

AMBER COEUR - Pure glowing amber

Amber Coeur is a warm, radiating, glowing amber of the sun. It is a balanced accord that is resinous, sweet and slightly smoky (the natural smoky nature of labdanum. A resinous smoky, not campfire smoke). It is perfect for those looking for just a pure amber that can stand alone or be layered with other perfumes in your collection. The cozy glowing halo of amber is great for the winter but not too heavy to be enjoyed all year round. Amber Coeur differs from our Estate Amber EDP exclusive (should be restocked toward the end of the month) which contains a different amber accord paired with Estate Vanilla, coriander and cardamom. You may enjoy one more than the other or like one and not care for the other as they are different takes on amber. Both have a warm, diffusive golden amber scent but Amber Coeur is a bit warmer. Imagine more of a river of melted, sticky, vibrant orange resinous amber with a sweetness rounding off any sharp edges. It is an easygoing scent that is not challenging or overly complex though it is layered and nuanced, not a flat amber.

The EDP version contains an energetic essence of Baltic amber chips (like those pictured. Does not affect the scent). We use different ambers in many of our perfumes (we use more than one amber just like we use more than one vanilla) but wanted to offer a pure focused amber scent for people who just want that note without additional components.

MONASTIC - Frankincense, fog, rose, myrrh, labdanum, spikenard, dust

Not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers

Monastic is a deep, rich, resinous rose. A full-bodied robust and reverent resin fragrance. Monastic opens with a delicate top note of fog enshrouding a cluster of warm frankincense and myrrh, followed quickly by emerging fresh and dried rose petals. Contains rose absolutes, rose otto and rose attar from around the world, frankincense resin from Oman and Somalia, spikenard from Nepal, myrrh, 7 year aged patchouli (very little in the blend for those of you who do not care for patchouli), peru balsam, labdanum and various other natural and synthetic components for body. The primary notes in this blend are the aforementioned. The initial application of Monastic is very bold and takes a few minutes to unfold as it warms on the skin. This is a medium throw fragrance with good longevity. Dries down to focus on the resins, primarily frankincense and a little dusty myrrh. This fragrance is different from our other resinous offerings such as Basilica, Scrying Smoke, Incensum and Conjure Dark. It shares parallels with all of these perfumes though. Monastic does not contain any wood notes like some of the other perfumes just mentioned. It is also only marginally sweet. It is a thick, resinous, sacred fragrance coupled with wafts of velvety rose.
