| PHARAOHEgyptian Musk, Honey & Frankincense Essential Oil
Offered as part of the General Catalog in Perfume Oil and is occasionally available as a Glace, Whipped Soap and Glace. Description: This scent has been reformulated form the original version. It is very similar to the original. Pharaoh is a fragrance comprised primarily of the long-established, popular and neutral scent of Egyptian Musk spiked with just a few drops of Frankincense Essential Oil and a splash of honey far in the background. It is a beautiful, very soft fragrance that is perfect for wearing when you're looking for something understated and muted but would like to smell clean. It is a truly wonderful unisex fragrance that has a slight tinge of the exotic and is clean, fresh, mild, natural and has just the slightest hint of a floral. The frankincense is very soft and detectable solely upon application. After that, it takes a back seat and really is more of a note adding depth rather than one standing as identifiable. The honey is a very mild natural honey and does not contain the almond notes that other honey blends have.

| I can't believe no one has reviewed this! It's one of my favorites. Like Angela's description says, it's clean smelling, but not in a fresh or soapy sense--more in the way skin smells fresh out of the shower. This scent is warm, sweet and golden and rich. The predominant note is Egyptian musk, followed by a slight sweetness from the honey, and just a hint of frankincense. It's definitely has "come hither" potential, yet still appropriate for work. It's soft enough to wear in warmer months without amping to high heaven, but is also surprisingly cozy for cooler months as well. | |

| I love Pharaoh, even though it didn't sound like something I would enjoy (I'm not usually a fan of musks or honey). rinster described this so well with the fact that it smells clean but not at all soapy, like skin that's cool and fresh from a shower. Then there's a little bit of sweet honey that has an almost wildflower sort of edge to it and a little bit of exotic resin from the frankincense. It's pretty, clean, and sexy all at the same time. My husband says this smells like "cold rain and pretty girl," lol. | |

| This fragrance is pretty strong if you like Egyptian Musk. I like it, but my skin combination doesn't work with it so at times I layer the fragrance with another understated musk.
But for some confounded reason my skin objects to the fragrance and morphs into something else!

| I have never reviewed perfume and do not know much about them except from a user's perspective, but I simply have to give a positive review on this, so here goes; I only purchased a sample of this, but fell in love right away. As mentioned, a clean, fresh-out-of-the-shower, but not in any way soapy, scent. Most definitely be purchashing a full bottle of this next time!
In my own words, it's got a feathery, puffy, airy feel to it, yet it's rich, solid and outstanding all at once. It made me feel like I was swimming in a vat of cotton balls and sexy people, if that explains anything. Slightly mannish, which is absolutely great because I tend to always lean towards those kinds of scents instead of the floral ranges in more effeminate perfume.
As a side note, I paired this a few spots of Dragon's Blood perfume and was taken away; It transformed into a completely new scent altogether. The muskiness toned down and blended with the spicy-incensey nature of the Dragon's Blood, and carried over that minute hint of tangy sweetness which uplifted Pharaoh that significant bit and made it more active. The slight sourness in Dragon's Blood is completely concealed underneath. If I smelt this on someone, I'd follow them around all day! Fortunately, I don't have to follow myself around all day, haha.

| OMG!!! I love this scent way toooo much!!! It's by far my favourite SS scent so far. It hugs close to the body which is what I prefer in a scent. It's wonderful on it's own (I like to layer it with the body ganache) and I also pair it with the Amber scent, too, which just raises it up to a new level of goodness. I also like that I'll get a wafting of the honey every once in a while. This is truly a magical scent that everyone should wear. | |

| The Egyptians would be proud! This is the true essence of an Egyptian Goddess in a bottle. Frankincense and Egyptian Musk. It is sweet, resinous, with a soft musk. On me this scent isn't over powering which is good, but it is definitely there. Feminine and magical. | |

| I actually spilled a few drops of this on my hand yesterday when I opened the vial to smell it. It's so strong that I smelled it all night! It was very musky and incense-y. It makes me wonder if I would be able to smell the honey if I applied it more liberally. Oddly enough, it doesn't have nearly as much throw on my boyfriend. Though, I applied it on him, I can barely smell it even when I'm hugging him. | |

| This is a really sexy fragrance, but not in an overtly sexy way (you know, those really dark fragrances that smell of pomegranates and debauchery and whatnot). It's kind of a subtle sexy. :3
I actually got into this fragrance in quite an unorthodox way. This is not the type of scent I would ever choose for myself, but I was reading a fanfiction where the main character smelled of "honey musk" and the author later shared that it was inspired by this scent LOL. It's one of my all time fave fics, so OF COURSE I HAD TO TO SAMPLE THIS ifonlytoknowwhatthatcharactersmelledlike! Scents can be very personal, and smelling this makes me happy because that fic made me pretty damn happy! xD I also love the name- I used to be a big fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! when I was in elementary school (is this the most revealing review ever or what), and more recently a huge fan of the Abridged Series on Youtube, which is FREAKING HILARIOUS. Additionally, I've always found Egyptology rather fascinating, so the name of this fragrance alone kind of feeds my love for it lol.
Anyways, idk what Egyptian Musk and Frankincense smell like (Is there a difference between regular and Egyptian musk? Based on how much I love this scent, the Egyptian bit must be quite magical), but I am a major sucker for honey (it's the type of note that whenever I see, I know I have to sample), but a lot of honey notes tend to be kind of leathery, almondy, or too strong. Thankfully, this is none of the above. I like that this scent isn't in your face, and the musk note mixes really well with the honey. Like someone else mentioned, it's got a clean-from-the-shower yummy skin scent.
I asked a girl friend to sniff it on me and she said she didn't really like it, but didn't hate it either. Oh wells, more for me! This is the type of scent that can be worn anytime, and I often reach for it when I don't know what to wear, or I get tired of wearing foodie/overly sweet scents. This is my 2nd fav scent from SS after Cenobite. I think this is a good unisex scent, if I ever get a life, I mean boyfriend, I would make him wear this. Will definitely be purchasing a full sized bottle with my next order!

| This perfume is great! It's a really clean smell, and it's a bit sweet from the honey but not in a sickening way at all. The musk is very subtle and blends well with the honey and frankincense. This is a really great scent for days when you don't have time to shower but want to smell as if you did All in all, I really enjoy this one and am considering buying a full size. | |

| Oh, my goodness, this perfume is not getting enough press! I received a sample vial of this one in my order today and it is phenomenal. It does not have a huge amount of throw, but stays close to the skin and is super cuddly and clean. It makes me think of waking up late on a Sunday morning with sunshine on your sheets and the sleepy smell of your sweetheart's neck. This is a definite for full size purchase. | |

| I feel like the frankenscense opener doesn't fit. It smells sweet and exotic but doesn't match the white musk that comes later- it's like wearing one perfume for the first few minutes and a second perfume the rest. The "second perfume" I don't care for, it smells musty. | |

| This one was straight honey for me, almost beeswax-y. It went on pretty subtle, so I doubled the dose, but then about an hour later it really amped up, so I recommend you give this one some time before adjusting amounts.
I think I'll keep this one and layer it with just a touch of something sharp or musky.
