| CAMEO Almond, Rose, Yellow Cake, Tonka Bean, Coconut, Ginger and Green OrangeCameo is a delicious gourmand fragrance blended with rose. Almond, rose, yellow cake, tonka bean absolute, coconut flakes, creamed ginger and a light top note of bitter green orange EO combine to create a sweet feminine floral. The almond is dominant on cold sniff and initial application, followed by rose. As Cameo settles on the skin, the almond smoothes out and the tonka bean comes to the foreground. The coconut flake and yellow cake emerge and meld with the tonka and the light zing of creamed ginger. The rose and almond become very soft and well blended with the rest of the notes. The orange is a top note that does not linger in the final composition. Cameo contains a blend of fragrances, moroccan rose absolute, tonka bean absolute, ginger CO2 and bitter green orange essential oil. | |

| I love Cameo! It's hands down my favorite of the new Spring scents. I reviewed it on my blog here, but here's the slightly condensed version for convenience:
In the bottle it’s a warm baked goods kind of scent. Creamy and sweet. On skin it’s very strongly almond initially, with sweet, flowery things hiding underneath. After a few minutes the floral note (rose) gets stronger, and after it dries down completely it’s more of a warm, sweet almond cookie base with soft rose. Long after dry down I do get a bit of coconut. It's just gorgeous.
It also has stellar lasting power - it's still well detectable 12 hours after application. I will be needing this in every other format, and I hope it at least becomes a recurring Spring scent so I don't have to hoard it too ferociously.

| Vanilla cake! It's like Blossom Jam Tea Cakes, but without the funky note that goes urp on me. I'm not consciously discerning the rose, orange, or ginger, but it may be buried in there somewhere. I do get some almond, but it's all about the cake on my skin. Foody lovers, take note. | |

| Cameo is a very unusual combination of almond and rose that is somewhat reminiscent of eating Turkish Delight. I get hints of the orange in the first few minutes which has the effect of tempering the sweetness, and then there is a long delicious dry-down when the rose combined with a toasted coconut accord becomes dominant. As the rose slowly exits, the coconut and vanilla (tonka) comes to the fore. A charming, young girl's scent. | |

| I'll probably edit this review once I've given the perfume some time to settle (I just got it today) but as soon as I smelled it I had to put it on, and it had such a strong scent memory for me that I really wanted to leave a review!
As soon as I smelled this I felt like a kid again. It took me right back to my childhood, walking into my grandma's house, and smelling the sweet scent of cherry coconut bars cooling on the counter. (I know there isn't supposed to be any cherry in Cameo, but I suspect it's the almond that smells like cherries to me). I get whiffs of sweet cherries, something cakey, coconut, and faint rose.
Cameo is a really beautiful, sweet scent. It's almost candy sweet, but not over the top. When I sniff my wrists directly I get sweet cherries, cake, and coconut. I can smell it wafting around me too (and for a while I kept wondering "what smells so good? ...oh, it's me!" Haha) in the air it smells like candied roses, cake, and coconut. The coconut stands out the most to me, which I really enjoy. Cameo is completely different from what I expected, but I love it, and I love the memories it brings to mind.

| Almond is mainly what I get from this, with hints of cake, rose, and what I assume is the green orange. It's not my favorite from the Spring collection (by any means; Chantilly Cream and Chiffon have my heart FOREVER!!!) but I like it enough that I break it out a few times during the season, and even a few times during the year. After about an hour of wear something (again, I assume the green orange) goes a bit syrupy sweet on me and I lose the cake completely, sadly. Not full-size worthy for me, but definitely worth trying! | |

| I usually hate cherry/almond scents, but I really regret going for the sample size of Cameo and not just buying a full bottle unsniffed, lol.
I love what the yellow cake, almond, rose and tonka do together in this fragrance. It's like a creamy, moist yellow cake with vanilla-buttercream-tonka frosting and hints of almond extract in the batter and the frosting, topped off with a few dots of rose jam.
It's sooo sweet and so in your face CAKE! Warm, creamy, gourmand, amazing. It makes me want to go and bake cupcakes and whip up some buttercream...
