5ml PERFUMES:

AFTER THE RAIN (Natural perfume. Alcohol based.)
Lilac, Wisteria, Blue Lotus, Rain, Green Accord, Wild Violets, Earth

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

After the Rain is a natural perfume in organic cane sugar alcohol featuring notes of lilac, purple wisteria, blue lotus absolute, rain, new green leaves, wild violets, soil, clary sage and more. After the Rain is very Earthy with lilac heart notes and green and petrichor top notes. This perfume celebrates the eruption of blooms that occur after the spring rains. It is a cool-tone purple floral with delicate rain drops clinging to the velvet petals and lush green leaves. The rain accord comes through as the scent of rain left after the storm has passed, rather than the strong eruption of petrichor that explodes as soon as the rain begins to fall. It is a cool, wet, misty impression that hovers around the bold lilac, wisteria and peaceful blue lotus absolute. The wet wild violets are subtle and meld with the bolder floral notes rather than standing our like in our violet focused perfumes. The green elements are carefully restrained and primarily detectable along with the rain top notes upon initial application. After the Rain feels romantic, Victorian, haunting, mysterious and elegant. It conjures visions of being in the English countryside in a stone cottage covered in wisteria vines. The leaded glass window has been left open to allow the cool rain-tinged air and the scent of florals and greenery to waft in. Bold cool wet earth remains into the dry down, just behind the flowers.

BADLANDS
Dry woods, worn leather, dusty fossils, sandalwood, palo santo, hot resins, juniper wood, ponderosa pine cone, parched grasses and desert plants, oud, spices

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

Badlands is a very dry fragrance composed of primarily sun-baked woods, well-worn brown leather, sand, palo santo, hot resins, juniper wood, sandalwood, ponderosa pine cone, parched desert plants and grasses and a very light thread of spice. Upon initial application, top notes of wild desert plants (including a bit of sagebrush) and palo santo ride the crest of a deep warm woods and brown leather base. Melting myrrh, hot Earth, faint spice and juniper wood and berries join the other notes to create a desert atmospheric that is different from our previous interpretations. When you close your eyes, you should imagine heat waves coming off of a wide open plain of scorched sand, a sun baked rolling wooden cart, hot leather and sparse desert plants.

BLOSSOM JAM TEA CAKES
Southern Tea Cakes, Petit Fours, Floral Infused Jams & Preserves and a Delicate Aroma of Tea

Blossom Jam Tea Cakes features the mouthwatering aromas of Petit Fours filled with floral infused jams and preserves, enrobed in sweet fondant, warm southern tea cakes topped with a delicate lavender buttercream and a subtle waft of hot tea. A rich cakey base supports light floral and fruit notes to create a beautiful atmospheric spring gourmand floral fragrance. Gourmand floral.

Notes include: yellow and white cake, honeysuckle absolute, palmarosa EO, peach, strawberry, blood orange EO, lavender absolute, ylang ylang absolute, buttercream, fondant. The floral notes listed may give the impression that this is a heady floral but it's not. Rather, the floral notes were used with restraint and were intended to infuse the delicate fruit notes to create an interpretation of floral jams and preserves thinly spread on fluffy cakes. A very unique fragrance.

CHANTILLY CREAM
Whipped Cream, Peach Nectar, Vanilla & Yellow Mandarin EO

Our Chantilly Cream is white fluffy whipped cream sweetened with vanilla and just a touch of peach nectar.    A light addition of lovely yellow mandarin essential oil tempers the juicy peach note.  The primary notes in this blend are the whipped cream and a blend of vanillas and they are also the longest lasting.  The peach nectar and yellow mandarin are more detectable in the cold sniff of the blend and are very subtle on the skin and add a juicy touch to the more dominant scent of the whipped cream accord.   This fragrance is best judged not on cold sniff or immediately after application but after about 5 to 7 minutes of morphing before its true scent is revealed.  It will become sweeter the longer it wears and the fruit notes will eventually recede completely.
Chantilly Cream has a profile that is very light, sweet and delicate.  It hugs very close to the skin and is intended for a gentle skin sweetening treat when you wish to wear something a little lighter and less heady near those sensitive to fragrance, in the work environment or just because you want to indulge in something a little softer in scent and throw.  It is a versatile scent that would pair and layer wonderfully with fragrances in your collection that contain notes of coconut, cake, fruit, vanilla or even select floral scents (white florals such as jasmine, tuberose and lily especially).  It layers nicely with Chiffon too!

CHIFFON
Vanilla, White Amber, White Musk & Lemon Myrtle EO

DO NOT APPLY IMMEDIATELY AFTER A HOT SHOWER OR NEAR CUTS OR BROKEN SKIN AS LIKE LEMON JUICE, LEMON MYRTLE MAY STING!

Chiffon is a dual concept fragrance that brings together the airy, sweet and refreshingly tart taste of Lemon Chiffon pie and the elegant, wispy and equally airy beauty of chiffon fabric.  A very special top-shelf, perfectly sweet and non-cloying vanilla (one of the vanillas in Nightgown) provides a base for a delicate touch of white amber and white musk.  Chiffon is completed with the bright and uplifting scent of pure lemon myrtle essential oil.  The lemon myrtle is one of the dominant notes on cold sniff and initial application.  It will recede within 5 to 10 minutes and allow the other notes to emerge.  Unlike most lemon essential oil top notes that disappear fairly quickly, lemon myrtle EO has a strong lemon-like scent but also a very good staying power.  Lemon Myrtle is distilled from the leaves of a native Australian Tree.  As it fades and takes a back seat to the other notes a wonderful, sweet, ethereal and beautiful long-lasting scent is left behind.   The longer Chiffon is on the skin, the sweeter it gets.  The vanilla is the longest lasting note of the blend and takes on a glorious whipped cream and an almost marshmallow note the longer it is on the skin.  A really lovely and sophisticated scent!  Fans of some of our other scents like Nightgown, Snowshoe Pass and Manor should really enjoy Chiffon.
While Chiffon is overall a scent that smells light and airy like clouds, it also is pretty strong and seems to grow stronger the longer it is on the skin so apply a modest amount on your first try and let it sit for about 45 minutes to gauge how much you will need for future applications.

CLIFFSIDE BONFIRE
Conifers, dry woods, rain, saltwater, seaweed, ambergris (vegan), charred wood, smoke.

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

On initial application, a woody, coniferous blast gives way to crashing waves with fat raindrops just on their heels. Cliffside Bonfire is a forest aquatic with a touch of petrichor and some warm wood smoke. The smoke is nowhere near as strong as in our Smoky Mountain Mallow or Manor Fire perfumes. The main body of the perfume is a dry and woody blend with a generous dose of sea spray, a periphery of conifers followed by light charred wood, embers and a bit of wood smoke. The dry woods and smoke are more apparent as the blend morphs and moves into the dry down. The rain undulates back and forth as a top note, shifting in front of and then behind the saltwater, then again. It dissipates to make way for warm, dry woods, a toasty fire and an undertone of saltwater and pine. Ponderosa pine, sub-alpine fir, tamarack, swiss stone pine, spruce, Siberian fir and others are used alongside juniper wood, Port Orford cedar, blue cypress, seaweed, ambergris, oud, moss, fossilized amber, birch tar and more in this mixed media perfume. While there are several synthetics used in Cliffside Bonfire, the majority of the formula comes from natural materials.

COQUINA
Sandalwood, Orange Blossom, Clementine EO, Beach Sand, Plumeria Absolute, Coconut, Ginger EO, Incense & A Splash of Sea-spray

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.  THIS FRAGRANCE CONTAINS A CITRUS OIL.  CITRUS OILS ARE PHOTOTOXIC AND THIS FRAGRANCE SHOULD NOT BE USED PRIOR TO PROLONGED SUN EXPOSURE.

*REFORMULATED 2020* Coquina is a bright and beautiful sandalwood fragrance embellished with tons of orange blossoms and juicy clementine EO lavishly spread on to hot beach sand that has been softly misted by sea-spray.  The fragrance is enhanced with a little plumeria (frangipani) absolute, coconut and a delicate touch of ginger essential oil.  Coquina marries sand and surf with an incense-like sandalwood blend, juicy citrus and exotic florals.  On cold sniff the orange blossoms, clementine and sandalwood dominate.  On the skin the sea mist and sand are detectable after the first few minutes of wear.  The coconut and ginger are very subtle but add important nuances to Coquina's profile.  Plumeria absolute smells nothing like its synthetic counterparts.  In this blend, it is used lightly to add body to the orange blossom without overpowering.  On the dry down (which comes quickly) the light sandalwood notes dominate with alternating currents of sand and sea spray.  There is also a warm incense wafting in the dry down that is slightly smoky. The floral notes are primarily top notes that recede into a very tame and faint presence.  Coquina is a feminine soft tropical woods blend that is very wearable and perfect for summer!

Coquina contains a blend of fragrance oils and the following essential oils and absolutes: frangipani, clementine, ginger and mitti attar.

CORVIN'S APPLE FEST (Not part of the collection. Just a general restock item.)

DEVIL'S MILLHOPPER (Limited Quantity / No Samples)
Heather, Fern, Spring-fed Waterfall, New Spring Leaves, Earth, Wild Violet, Coumarin, Oak

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

This perfume has been reformulated as of 2019. It features a similar profile to the previous incarnation but is more complex, smooth and well rounded. The watery elements are more obvious and the addition of a variety of other green and botanical accents adds to a more dynamic atmosphere.

This scent contains notes of heather, lush fern, young spring leaves, rich Earth, creamy coumarin, a touch of wild purple violets and an assortment of woods, including oak, used to interpret the atmosphere of Devil's Millhopper. These notes are paired with a refreshing splash of spring-fed waterfall accord. On cold sniff and initial application it smells of fern, new spring leaves, vines, creamy coumarin and a fresh floral heather. The green top notes lead to a cool-toned floral heather surrounded by a mist of water. The dry down is soft, fresh and lush with a deep purple floral character and very light oak just beneath. It is not foresty or heavy on the wood notes. It smells lushly green and purple with a splash of crisp spring water. Close your eyes and feel the cool air pressing in from the sides of the sinkhole, a delicate mist tickling your face, the dappled sunlight peeking through the tops of the hammock above.

Devil's Millhopper is a unique geological formation that is 120 ft. deep and 500 ft. across at the rim.  The sinkhole's name comes from its funnel-like shape which resembles a grist mill's hopper in which grain was held. Early settlers found fossilized animal remains and shark's teeth at the bottom and along the craggy walls leading them to believe that this was the place where bodies were fed to the Devil. Devil's Millhopper has a lush primitive environment with fern, moss, lichen, rare plants and a variety of trees. There are several small caves and waterfalls which flow into the basin below. The water then travels to an underground river which leads to the Florida aquifer.

GIN FLOWER (Natural perfume. Alcohol based.)
Osmanthus, Elderflower, Apricot, Vanilla, Juniper, Lime, Manuka Honey Accord (Vegan), Pear, Citron, Hawaiian Sandalwood

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

Gin Flower is a delicious natural perfume in organic cane sugar alcohol. This is based off a gin and St. Germain elderflower liqueur cocktail and is the first in a series of cocktail perfumes. Elderflower liqueur tastes like nectar. It is a sweet liqueur with notes of pear, apricot and honey. Gin Flower is sweet, lightly fruity, fizzy and zesty scent with loads of osmanthus flower absolute. Osmanthus, also known as tea olive, has a strong apricot-like note. It is more fruity than floral and also has the faintest leather note to it. Osmanthus and apricot are the strongest mid to base notes along with a large dose of vanilla and subtle traces of organic Hawaiian sandalwood. The top notes are juniper berries, which give gin it's distinctive flavor, lime zest and juice and citron. Gin Flower also contains a special elderflower accord made with tons of elderflower CO2, pear, manuka honey accord (vegan) and apricot. On initial application, you will smell a burst of a gin and tonic due to the juniper, lime and citron notes. These are short lived top notes that give way to the generous saturation of osmanthus, vanilla and elderflower. Gin Flower develops quickly and becomes fairly linear but retains a slight zest along with the sweet and fruity apricot/osmanthus. The combo is mouthwatering and uplifting. As a natural perfume, longevity is a bit shorter than our mixed media or synthetic perfumes. After the initial opening, the perfume will wear a bit closer to the skin with a more intimate throw. It does last for several hours and it does waft from the skin. It will continue to get stronger as it ages in the bottle so the scent will be even more concentrated/strong months from now. For best results, apply very generously with a few layers (apply, let dry, apply more to the same spot. Do this a few times) and it will last surprisingly long for a natural! The performance is even better on clothing when sprayed in a layered format in the same spot.

HIDDEN LODGE (Limited Quantity / No Samples. Not part of the release. General restock item)

PHARAOH (General catalog restock item. Egyptian musk, Frankincense and honey. Also available in Glace for this release).

ROSE CUSTARD KULFI
Rosewater, saffron, cardamom, coconut vanilla custard, caramelized sugar, dates, pistachios, lime zest

ALLERGEN ALERT: CONTAINS PISTACHIO CO2. AVOID IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY.

Rose Custard Kulfi is a loose interpretation of the Indian dessert kulfi, with a twist and quite a few additional embellishments. Rosewater, saffron and cardamom infused coconut vanilla custard is topped with caramelized sugar, chopped dates, crushed pistachios and lime zest. It's sweet, lightly rosey, a bit of custard, bruleed sugar and tons of sticky dates. This gourmand perfume opens with a burst of lime that is quickly followed by rose, sugar and custard. The pistachio peaks out as a top note after a very shirt time on the skin, lending a faint touch of nuttiness. There is actual pistachio CO2 in this perfume so please be advised if you have a nut allergy. The cardamom is very faint. This perfume opens with a well-blended and complex note profile where it is challenging to isolate every note in the blend. Each time you smell it, you will pick up something different and may identify each note over time. The blend evolves fairly quickly and dries down to mostly carmelized sugar, dates, a touch of vanilla and a very faint hint of creamy custard.

Our testing shows that the perfume oil format showcases the scent marginally better on skin than the Eau de Parfum format. The EDP opens slightly different than the oil and shines best on fabric. The differences are nominal but you may wish to try one or the other, depending on how you prefer to wear perfume (skin versus fabric) - or try both versions!

SOLSTICE MAGNOLIA
Lemon-Magnolia ice cream, sugar cone, Hawaiian sandalwood, honeysuckle, thumbprint cookies with quince jam, unsweetened iced black tea

Notes of lemon-magnolia ice cream, sugar cone, Hawaiian sandalwood and light traces of honeysuckle, thumbprint cookies with quince jam and iced unsweetened black tea. This airy and light gourmand floral (flormand) opens with a bright, sweet and creamy magnolia and lemon ice cream. The tea, honeysuckle and thumbprint cookies with quince jam add body and lightly weave in and out of the core of the scent, which focuses on the magnolia, ice cream and sugar cone notes. The sandalwood is very delicate and provides fixative qualities and gentle presence in the dry down. The final dry down is a creamy vanilla with very light floral notes. This scent is soft and could be deemed work appropriate, once it dries down. The magnolia is primarily a shorter lived heart note but it is so wonderful for the time it is present in the blend. The overall scent shares some parallels with our popular spring scent Chiffon, though there is no white musk or white amber. The similarities come from the vanilla and lemon combo. Solstice Magnolia is a different fragrance and has much lighter lemon than Chiffon but they share a similar airy, gossamer, light, sweet veil on the skin. Perfect for spring or summer, or in the depths of winter when you're craving a pick-me-up and some brightness.

SPIRIT TREE
Gardenia, Vanilla, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Soft Woods blend, Orange Blossom, Magnolia

A haunting medley of low-country white florals paired with the smoothest sun-warmed woods accord and a bold dose of vanilla. Spirit Tree focuses primarily on gardenia, jasmine and vanilla with very subtle supporting floral notes of orange blossom and magnolia. The main detectable flowers are gardenia and jasmine. A heavy blast of white florals hanging on the air in the low country on a humid night at the height of summer pairs with the creamiest vanilla that smooths out any rough edges and leads towards the warmest base of woods. The most detectable wood is sustainable sandalwood essential oil paired with very light cedar (Virginia and Texas Hill cedarwood, which are actually varieties of juniper). After the initial bold opening, the scent settles pretty quickly and becomes an ethereal sweet floral wrapped in the coziest wood accord. The gardenia in this blend is different than the interpretation in our Flowers Nocturnal and White Feather perfumes, which focus on natural gardenia only. The accord in Spirit Tree contains pure and precious gardenia absolute paired with a variety of aromachems and a few other naturals to created an elegant aroma that works beautifully with the woods and vanilla. This scent is sweet, floral, woody, airy, humid and warm. The natural gardenia has a light trace of spice.

Spirit Tree was offered in our catalog many years ago but this interpretation, while similar, is quite different than the original. If you like the sweet and creamy floral combo in our Nightgown perfume and you also enjoy sandalwood and other warm golden wood notes, you may like Spirit Tree. The florals are different but have a similar boldness to how Nightgown opens on initial application. The floral notes are strongest on initial application of Spirit Tree but settle down to meld within the vanilla and woods so the scent is not as heady as it may sound, beyond initial application.

VICTORIAN PICNIC
Pound Cake, Loquat-Lemon Glaze, Orange Blossoms, Wisteria, Ladyfingers, Jasmine, Azalea Leaf & Reisling

NOT TO BE USED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

Victorian Picnic is a bright floral gourmand blend featuring pound cake with loquat-lemon glaze, bold orange blossoms, delicate wisteria flowers, spongy ladyfingers, a faint trace of jasmine's first blooms, a small splash of Reisling wine and a touch of azalea leaf. Opens very strong with a bold orange infused pound cake and plentiful orange blossoms.  Allow the perfume to settle for a few minutes as the heady opening smooths out gives way to uplifting orange blossoms and puffs or wisteria on the breeze. The floral aspects are prominent for the first half hour of wear time with the pound cake and sweet ladyfingers just behind. A light top note citrus medley of loquat and lemon weaves in between the floral notes. The jasmine is very faint and is subtly detectable once the orange blossom and wisteria begin to recede. The rich brown exterior of the dense pound cake is readily detectable on the dry down. Victorian Picnic is in the vein of Blossom Jam Tea Cakes but with very different floral notes and a modified cake accord. The azalea leaf is an accent note to temper the very sweet aspects of the blend; it is not detectable as a green or leafy note in the blend. A splash of nectar and light fruit forward Reisling wine accompanies the cake on the dry down.

Estate Cacao [EDP EXCLUSIVE]
Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Raw Cacao, Estate Vanilla, Aged Patchouli, Pomegranate, Raspberry

Estate Cacao is a mouth-watering chocolate explosion celebrating a variety of chocolates and the raw cacao fruit. It opens with a melange of sweet milk and white chocolate with a light amount of dark chocolate in the background. The aged patchouli and pomegranate and raspberry fruit notes serve to represent the fruity fermented raw cacao and the fruit-notes that some finished high cacao content bars of very dark chocolate exhibit. The patchouli is primarily detectable when you go looking for it and it's most apparent in the initial opening upon application, where it subsides after a few minutes. It is not a heavy patchouli fragrance; this note is very smooth and used to ground the otherwise very sweet gourmand perfume. The fruity notes are light but detectable through most of the wear and into the dry down. Estate Vanilla is a small part of the formula, adding an additional complexity to the white chocolate accord as well as a nice fullness to the body of the perfume. If you love chocolate, this perfume is a symphony of all aspects of this remarkable heart-opening plant, from the raw dried fermented beans with their delicate fruit notes to the cocoa butter and cocoa powder and the resulting finished silky chocolate bars. Each time you smell it, you will detect different layers of the chocolate profile.

Estate Rosewood [EDP EXCLUSIVE]
Estate Vanilla, Tea Rose, Oak Casks, Tobacco, Bourbon, Woods, Rosewood, Hinoki Wood

Estate Rosewood begins on a strong base of our house vanilla called Estate Vanilla to which notes of tea rose, oak casks, tobacco, woods, bourbon, rosewood and hinoki wood have been added. This perfume opens with a light tea rose accord top note and sweet vanilla, warm oak bourbon barrels and a touch of aromatic tobacco with a faint trace of spice. The bourbon is rich, golden and woody with slight caramel and raisin undertones. It is not boozy, rather think of a rendered down bourbon syrup or a well-aired glass of bourbon carefully blended with the other notes. There is a bit of fine sustainably-sourced sandalwood at the heart. The rosewood is light, with hints of lemon and tea rose. It has a delicate polished carved antique rosewood furniture element. Estate Rosewood has the rich exquisite stately aroma along the lines of Estate Carnation and White Feather but it is much lighter than those dense heavily-scented, spicy and heady compositions. The Estate Vanilla base emerges to the foreground as this perfume wears and after several hours the vanilla and spent oak casks are the strongest remaining notes with a faint trace of tobacco and woods. Estate Rosewood has a sweet, creamy, warm, golden, slightly woody dry down with a wisp of non-powdery amber, though no amber is present in this composition.
