Alpha & Beta Hydroxy Fruit and Cream Masque

I'm trying this for the first time today, and although I haven't washed it off yet, I would say this is another product that solidly delivers.

The other two masques (Oatmeal and Antioxidant) have been my go-to masques since I discovered them, but I'm always on the lookout for something to round those products out (especially as I get older and need more help).

First impressions: this goes on with the smoothness of the Antioxidant masque, but has a bit of a creamier touch. Immediately on my skin, I feel a tiny burn/tingle, but I am very sensitive and was expecting that. I was waiting to see if it the burn would become too much, but it stayed at a very manageable level.

The scent seems to be very similar to the antioxidant masque. I think I was expecting it to be much fruitier. I'm not disappointed, by any means. There is a tiny bit of a fruit hint, but it falls far behind the coconut milk (which is the predominant note I get from the antioxidant masque).

It's been on my skin for about five minutes now, and I'm already feeling it working like I can feel the other two masques when I put them on.

On a side note, I'd like to mention that since I've started using the other two masques, I have people tell me all the time that my skin glows. I use minimal makeup and occasionally deal with break-outs, so it's nice to be able to feel like I can "face" the world comfortably without having to slather artificial stuff on my skin to cover anything up.

I'll update when I wash this one off, but I can tell it's going to be a winner.

Edited to add that I rinsed it off, and wow. Just wow. My face always feels so soft after using these masques, but this one gives an added feeling of creaminess to the skin. My face is a tiny bit flushed (which I was expecting--even the antioxidant masque does that to me), but even with the flush my skin is brighter and a bit smoother.

I agree with Harvest. The texture of this masque is definitely creamier and smoother than the other Oatmeal and Antioxidant masques. However, the chunkiness of the Oatmeal masque lends itself to exfoliation, and I love the cocoa scent of the Antioxideant version, so each version has its virtues and I can see myself cycling through all three.

After I wash it off, my skin feels differently as well. It's more velvetly as if there were some moisturizer left behind. If you feel the other masques leave your skin a bit tight, try this one.

I am a big fan of these masques because the come in a power form and can be mixed as thickly or thinly as needed.

I keep trying other face cleansers and masques but I always end up back at SS. I was so excited to try another masque and had to order it the day it came out.

Along with the previous two posts, I agree that the Alpha & Beta masque has a smoother and creamier touch than the other two masques. I definitely get a hint of banana when I have mixed this with water and am applying it to my face. It goes on easy and washes off easy as well which is why I love Solstice Scents face care more than anything I have tried.

My face definitely feels smoother and looks moisturized as if I had put on some moisturizer on afterward. I had two blemishes on my face that were unpleasant looking and this masque helped to smooth and soften the area out.

I've used this product only at night so far. Every morning when I wake up, I love how my face is still so soft and smooth. This is definitely a repurchase for me!
