| Glace is my favorite SS product!! I use it as a light moisturizer, and if I'm feeling especially dry I'll apply some Ganache first, then layer the Glace over that. I'm also really fond of using a bit of Glace in my hair, either damp or dry. It really helps with my dry ends, and, of course, the scent is delicious!! My favorite scent right now is Pharaoh.
How does everyone else use Glace, and what are your favorite scents?

How does everyone else use Glace, and what are your favorite scents? I have to agree on how WONDERFUL the glace is. I really didn't use it until this past summer because I found SS during the winter and always used the ganache. As the weather got warmer, I found the ganache just a bit too thick for my skin, so I really started using the glace. Now, I am absolutely NUTS about it. Not only is it wonderfully moisturizing for your skin, it's a great way to layer your scents! It also is great when you add a little to your bath water! Just be careful though, it can make the tub a bit slippery. Keep an eye out for when Angela offers the Ghost (unscented) bath salts. You can add a few teaspoons of your favorite glace scent and bath in your own precious!

| I've never added it to a bath, but I need to try. My Cafe Mallomel is a bit intense for me as an all over product, but would be heavenly as a hot winter bath! | |

| Have 2 in my collection! The Harvest Moon and Cenobite... The Cenobite I LOVE as a roll on but as a glace I do find it a little intense although my daughter LOVE it!!!!!!!! The Harvest Moon smells lighter to me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent so would have to say the Harvest Moon is my favorite... I spray it on my clothes and my hair after I am dressed..... I do not think thats what it is meant for... But so far so good. It has not stained any of my clothes and the lovely smell does last!
Placed an order and then read this would be restocked. I sent a message asking if my first package could wait til I bought this also so the orders could be combined for shipping! Solstice scents did do that for me and I was so thankful!!!!!! Best customer service ever!!!! Both orders came combined, my glaces were amazingly wrapped in black tissue paper with a Solstice sticker... Lots of fun decor, hand written note, bookmark... Just so wonderful! You could order a product and have it sent directly to someone as a gift... That is how nice the presentation is!

| The only one I have is Cenobite and I layer it with everything. Love it. I spray on like perfume and sometimes a bit in my hair. I traded a Jack and the Devil because it was too overpowering for me and it has found a new home.
I intend to buy more Glace when the winter collection comes around.

| I haven't made it in Glace, Lynne. I was thinking about it because I've received a lot of requests but I have to calculate costs and we'll see. Maybe it will be offered when I do the mini-foodie release in the coming weeks. I mist the glace in my hair (not the crown) and comb it through. My hair is very long so I mist the spray once and then swing my dry hair through it, then comb it through. I'll do one more misting if I need extra coverage but one usually does it. Just be careful not to over use it because cones can build up in the hair. I have never had to clarify my hair because of its use though and my hair is very healthy. I think the cone build up depends on if you're using lots of cones (in poo and dish among styling products) and I don't. | |

| I'm a glace addict myself, use it all over, hair skin, you name it. (my husband questions the wisdom of the number I own arranged next to the the bath.) I use it in, or immediately after bathing and showering before i put anything else on, because of it i don't have to spend the time slathering on lotions every time i get out. all i have to ganache is hands, elbows and feet. What I've learned about glace is that the strength of some scents is more manageable when my skin is wet vs. dry. the milder ones are great and fine to spray inside the shower without getting intense, but the stronger ones are best to spray into the palm outside the shower after you've toweled off a bit. it helps to keep them from overpowering you. no matter how strong they smell initially, they will all dry down in a couple of minutes to something soft and lovely, i always sample them by washing my hands, spraying into my dampened palms, massaging in like a lotion, and experiencing the dry down to see what/how it will behave. also, i never actually "pour" my glace into the bath, i get in the water first, and then spritz the glace onto my skin and massage it around while i'm in the water. it wastes less, makes the scent easier to control, nice and strong but not too strong, and also you won't get globs of oil on patches of skin where it will tend to migrate around on the surface. i have in the past blended two glaces together successfully to soften it. sometimes the glace will smell a bit different than it's parent perfume, for example tenebrous mist was much smokier to me in the glace than PO, so i mixed in about 1/3 oz. of gulf breeze BG and it was just fine for me.

| I just recently tried the Glace for the first time and I really like it. I got Jack & The Devil (which I love!) and to avoid the dreaded slippery floor syndrome, I also spray it in my hands and then apply to my body. Once I'm done spreading it all around, I rub my hands together to warm it up a bit and then scrunch a bit into my hair. I have curly hair that doesn't ever really get oily, though. | |

| Maybe it is my method that gets me down. I towel off and thenuse spray oils in the shower as my primary moisturizer. It's pretty intense using 30 sprays at once in close quarters with the glace! My only request would be glace with a lower ratio of fragrance to oil, or even "ghost glace" so I can dilute as needed. It's hard to complain about such intense scent though--there is certainly no skimping on fragrance with these! | |

I use it after I towel off and step out of the shower. I spray it in my palm, rub my hands together and rub it in an area, then repeat. I usually use 2-3 pumps per leg, arm and whatnot. You don't have to worry about getting the floor of the tub slippery and you can really control the amount of glace/scent you use!

| I usually use 4-5 sprays per limb, and a few to the torso, then spread it all around. I spray close to the skin to avoid overspray! | |

| I LOVE the glace. It's strong enough to be a perfume. I wish Angela made it in Violette Truffle. Oooh, I love that scent! | |

| I've reduced the FO load in these significantly from when we first opened. I know everyone puts a different amount (I'm a 2 pump on the arm and 3 maybe 4 pump on the leg user) and if you put just a few spritzes, the staying power of a lot of the scents is pretty sad. So I've tried to reduce the FO keeping in mind those who only use a few squirts.
Alicious, I totally have had plans for a Ghost Glace for months now. It's just I keep running out of supplies and never seem to have enough on hand to do the new product when I am ready but I will have it available at some point - maybe for winter. I did a poll on FB and it seemed several folks were interested.

| Please don't reduce the amount of oils much more! You can always apply less, but if you want more, you'll be sliding out of your skin! | |

| i agree with rob, they're fine. i sorta feel bad about the champa business with me because it meant people who liked things as they were got gypped a bit. i think it might have only been a couple that were actually unbearable in close quarters. since then there's been a couple i wished were a little stronger, dunno if it was just the nature of those FO's in dilution or what but i craved a bigger/longer payoff. (being an industrious girl it boosted myself with the parent FO and a dropper, works fine.) | |

| I agree with Rob too - the strength of the glaces are perfect because you don't have to use a lot to smell wonderful for hours! and Angela - wow, unscented glaces! people could add their perfume oils to get just the right scent strength. or blend oils for a custom glace. what fun! | |

| Glace is my favorite product! I have it in many scents. I love that the scents are more intense-I would hate to see them diluted. I use about 3-4 sprays oer limb also and spray directly on my arms and legs then rub in. Works great. I would love to see Witche's Cottage in a glace also! Right niow I have 1 glaces and will keep buying more! RC and M and Ginderbread are fabulous in glace's! | |

| I also agree that the scent strength of the glaces is perfect. If anything I would want more, not less scent. And I would love a Witch's Cottage in glace as well. This forum is going to get me in trouble!!! | |
