QUIET NIGHT
Lavender & Roman Chamomile Essential Oils - Aromatherapy for Stress, Anxiety, Insomnia

Not to be used by those who are prone to hay fever or by women who are pregnant or nursing

Offered as part of the rotating General Catalog in Perfume, Ganache & Bath Salts

Description: Quiet Night is a wonderfully calming perfume of Lavender & Roman Chamomile Essential Oils in rice bran oil. This blend is primarily for aromatherapy purposes as opposed to a long-lasting perfume. In Aromatherapy, Lavender and Chamomile are both traditionally used to combat insomnia. Lavender's strong, herbaceous and slightly floral aroma marries with a soft background of Roman Chamomile's sweetish, warm-herbaceous and faintly apple like fragrance, whisking you away under the cloak of night to be free to dream and sleep peacefully. Lavender is also indicated for headaches, migraines, stress and anxiety, so you may enjoy carrying this perfume with you throughout the day should you need a lifeline to help combat the start of a headache or nervous tension. Dry down for this fragrance is very soft and subtle and does not have the staying power of synthetic perfumes. This fragrance starts off with a strong burst and calms down to a mild blend after only a few minutes.

This is a great bed time scent, really soothing and relaxing. I must try the bath salts, I bet they're wonderful just before bed, then followed with the oil.

I had never gotten around to ordering a sample of this because I don't care for lavender and was sure I wouldn't like it (lavendar always seems kind of sharp and unpleasant on me). This incarnation is so gentle and soft that I'm a convert!

Quiet Night doesn't get the attention it should!

This blend works PERFECTLY after a stressful day or a night where you just can't seem to wind down. I've used it countless times in the perfume, ganache and bath salts and it always has the most wonderful calming effect on me.

I also suffer from migraines every so often and have used that before bed to help me drift off to sleep. The lavender in this blend is glorious... along with the chamomile.. they both make the ultimate relaxation blend.

I highly recommend this to anyone needing to relax, get rid of a headache or just to enjoy the lovely scent this blend has!

I am so glad I gave the Quiet Night cream a try!!! It really is a very light soothing lavender scent. So many lavenders I have tried before have been so strong that they almost give me a headache. This blend is very soft and soothing!!!! I will be getting more of it soon! Can't wait to try it in the bath salts as soon as they are available again.

Quiet Night is probably the best lavender aromatherapy product I've tried (and I've tried a bunch). I'm prone to insomnia and it does help some with that. But as Angela suggests, it's also perfectly suited for quelling anxiety-ridden moments. I like the chamomile in the blend.

I've never managed to snag any of the salts, so will hope for more of those! And my perfume is almost gone too! Shocked

I totally agree with TheAnglican's review above. Smile Quiet Night is one of my top go-to perfumes for bedtime.  It's a smooth lavender and chamomile blend, and is just so relaxing - I love it!  I also like how I can't smell any of this perfume in the morning - it burns off quickly on the skin, and that works for me, since I usually apply a different perfume (Conjure! or Black Mallow! or Witches Cottage! Smile) in the morning, before I leave for work. This is a beautiful scent, and if you like meditative blends, give Quiet Night a try.

I, too, hope to purchase the bath salts (or ganache) in this scent in the near future!

I received this as a sample with my order. This stuff works wonders. I always have anxiety, but a few sniffs of this before bed and I always relax. I have no idea how the creators make this, but it's better than most sleep medicine for me. But I will say, it does not last long as it is for aromatherapy and not really for a perfume purpose. I will be ordering this soon!

I absolutely love the lavender in this! It's herbal with a little bit of zing, and it just travels right through me. ahhhhhhhh:cheers:

I know some people are not fond of the more herbal/apothecary style of lavender, so I don't think this blend will be of interest to them. For those wanting a more delicate and sweeter lavender, you will not find it here.

The chamomile doesn't seem to be quite as strong as the lavender is on my skin, but I'm okay with that. The lavender does smooth out a little and loose some of its burst, but it does lingers for a little while. Not much though, because this is an essential oil blend, and they don't really last all that long. That's just how they are. I'm looking to getting this in full size after the next wave of autumn part 2 release Smile

This one is straightforward, smells like equal parts dried lavender and herbal tea.  No throw- I have to go nose-to-skin to smell it.  I wish it came in a different form: ganache/glace/home/etc, because my mother hinted a couple times that she really liked "that night one."

I've been using this the past few nights to help me sleep and it is a very relaxing and calming scent. It starts off strong but quickly fades to a less in your face scent. I put this on before bed and by morning it's completely gone, which is good because then it doesn't interfere with my daytime perfume. It hasn't cured my insomnia but it definitely helps

This is true lavender and chamomile! Very herbal, not too sharp, but not too sweet either. It's not for me personally--I'd probably have better luck with lavender vanilla--but if you're someone that likes herbal scents, this one's for you!

I don't know why it's taken me so long to try this. I guess I was worried that it would be too herbal or too simple. It is simple and on the herbal side of things, but it's still an amazing, strong lavender that's almost cooling to me, and so calming. The lavender smells creamy and milky, with herbal edges and a slight sweetness, and this actually reminds me a lot of LUSH's Dreamtime bath melts. It's the sort of lavender that makes you want to curl up in cool sheets and take a nap.

So soothing Sleep
