RESTOCKS and UPDATES: Restocked perfumes in: Manor, Master Bedroom, Whispers in the Night, Shoikan Grove, Blossom Jam Tea Cakes and Chantilly Cream. Restocked glaces in: Amber, Cameo and Whispers in the Night.
If you happen to have Shoikan Grove and Smoky Mountain Mallow perfumes in your collection, try layering the Shoikan on top of the SMM. I did this yesterday and the combo is awesome. The fir notes temper the sweetness of the mallow and the addition of birch tar (that is in Shoikan) adds an additional depth to the smoke notes in SMM. This will make an especially wonderful combo for cooler weather.
SUMMER COLLECTION: Since this is coming out so late this year, it is unlikely we'll restock the non-perfume and glace items (whipped soaps, etc) after the initial release. So the Root Beer Float Whipped Soap and such will likely be the only stock when it is listed. We will restock the perfumes and glaces for a few months like we usually do, though. I am doing it this way so I can immediately begin working on the fall collection, which will take quite some time to make, because I don't want to be releasing that in November! We *may* restock things if we're able but it's unlikely so wanted to give fair warning. I am also not going to be stocking a ton of general catalog body products either at this time and after the summer release. The fall collection takes a lot of time and we're going to have to be solely focused on that. We will restock perfumes as usual throughout this time.
My main passion is perfume and as we continue to grow, other non-perfume products will be offered in a more manageable limited quantity. We're not planning on discontinuing them at this time but we won't have 12 ganaches and 10 Whipped Soaps in stock at a time like we have in the past. When we have them, it will be in a few fragrances at a time. I get questions often about when I will have X item back in stock again. Our catalog is a free form rotating one. What I mean by this is that we typically have our General Catalog and seasonally appropriate perfume oils in stock as that is the main focus of our business. When they sell out, we try to restock them as quickly as possible. The other products (ganache, whipped soap, etc) rotate in availability and once a batch sells out, we often will stock another fragrance. We do not constantly have, say, Manor or Cocoa Mallow ganache in stock so when you see it, that is the time to get it. It may be months before I make that particular scent in that product again. I am trying to keep things at a level manageable for us and focus on my real love, which is the perfume creating. The other products are shifting to secondary small batch offerings. I know this tighter product catalog will disappoint some but we wish to keep our process streamlined, including fast turnaround (shipping) time and to continue to have plenty of time to create interesting fragrance collections and keep up with the back end aspects of the business (photographs, listings, packaging, customer service. etc). The goal is a well-oiled machine that you guys will continue to enjoy for years to come.
A WORD ON SAMPLES: I've seen a few people mention that we do not offer certain perfumes in sample format. For instance, we have a Manor Collection sample set listing with the 6 perfumes in that collection. Sometimes people think you have to buy the whole set in order to just get the one or two scents you want to try out of that collection. That is not true. The collection is sold as a convenience but you may purchase our 1, 3, 5 or 10 sample pack and indicate which scents you'd like to try in the comments at checkout, if you do not see what you want offered in the drop down menu. Please read the first paragraph of the 1, 3, 5 or 10 sample pack listing and you will see that there is verbiage to that affect. The only scents that are NOT available in a sample pack are the Gardenia Enfleurage and seasonal scents that are not in season (i.e., our fall and winter collection scents are not available or listed on the site in the summer).
Will be in touch soon! Which returning scents/products are you most hoping to see for the summer release this year?
